From a Navy reactor room to independent research across geometry, cosmology, and number theory — and the software built alongside it.
My technical life began in the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, where discipline was measured in the steady operation of a reactor. That training — precise, unforgiving, systematic — never left me. Today I work as an independent researcher, developing frameworks across general relativity, spacetime geometry, and number theory, and I build AI-native software in the same spirit: tools shaped from the ground up around what modern models can do. The work is quiet and iterative, closer to the craft of engineering than the noise of the industry around it.

The Curvature Constant
My central line of research proposes a geometric reinterpretation of retained spacetime curvature as an alternative to dark matter — reading certain gravitational effects as curvature the universe carries with it, rather than as unseen mass. It sits at the meeting point of general relativity, spacetime geometry, and gravitational-wave phenomenology, and it frames the questions the rest of the work explores.

Background
I trained in the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Propulsion Program as a Nuclear Power Plant Operator (1984–1985), and served in combat aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), running one of the ship's eight nuclear reactors — a role that demanded absolute attention to systems, safety, and consequence. That foundation shapes how I approach research and technology now: measured, accountable, and built to hold under load.
